Baoding Eastern Bilingual School – Middle School Department,
3 years’ education system, has three main aims: to build up
the base of all the subjects; strengthen English, improve students’
all-round diathesis
1) Stress the basic subject training for senior entrance examinations:
Our school emphasizes the understanding and mastering of the basic
subjects such as Chinese, Mathematics and English etc. We believe
that these subjects have an indispensable role to play in the lives
of our students; no matter what path they choose to follow in the
future.
2) Strengthen the students’ knowledge and diathesis discipline:
To strengthen the students’ diathesis discipline, our school
has incorporated American teaching materials and has begun bilingual
teaching in subjects, such as Mathematics, Geography, History and
Arts for students in Grade 1, Junior Department to improve the students’
English skills and innovation ability. Our school recruits
foreign students who live amicably with our Chinese students, thus
accelerating world teenagers’ understanding with each other
and our school emphasizes on the exchange and harmonization of international
culture, so our students can accept the cultures of other nations
while understanding our countries own cultural traditions and later
become the local even world wide contributors.
3) Following the students English levels to organize the classes
to strengthen their English, bring into effect for bilingual education
and strengthen English:
Baoding Eastern Bilingual School teach on the basis of the principle
for “Good Faith, High Quality, and High Efficiency”,
enterprising reformation, we arrange students into separate classes
with their English level, have established the English characteristic
class, in which we recruit the students who are interested in English
since they were in the primary school, the students in the English
characteristic class are much better in both learning speed and
hardness than the English beginners in other classes the reform
has been ahead of the national level.
Our school adjusts the English teaching according to the students’
learning .In our English characteristic class, we may give classes
in English except the subject of Chinese. The following grades have
different demands in different teaching stages enabling the students
stable progress. The planned learning targets provide the students
wide space for their personality, which will arise their learning
interest, competition realization and to open their potential. After
having finished all the courses in the middle school, all the students
will take part in standard entrance examination for senior high
school.
Our education builds a solid foundation for our students’
whole life. Since china has entered the WTO, English has become
a necessary facility in the future. Mastering a second language
is now a life requirement; we will continue exploring and creating
a stable base for their future.
